Welcome to the Lauralyn Arabians Stud Website.
Lauralyn Arabians was formed in 1990 with the combining of Lyn's Shaylyn Arabian Stud which was established in 1970 and Laurie's Laurjil Arabian Stud established in 1975.
The Stud is situated at the foot of Black Bluff in the picturesque Leven Canyon area on the NW coast of Tasmania, Australia, 36 KM South of Ulverstone.
At Lauralyn Arabians we are striving to breed functional Arabians with Arabian type and athletic ability to perform under saddle. For the past 19 years we have been involved in the Endurance scene with seven Tom Quilty Buckles in the family.
Our foundation Stallions were multi-supreme Champion Halter & Performance horse Naaman Gala Fashion and the Australian renowned trick horse Star of Arabia Sir Ghazal.
The well performed Mares Aust. Top Ten, Wataba, 1992 Reserve Aust. Champion Mare Shazilla, 1986 Res. Aust. Champion Futurity Filly Shaylyn Mizala, Milands Gay Fashion & Godiva were the Studs foundation Mares.
In 1991 Princeton was purchased from Rod and Sally Strahan of Shardell Arabians and in 2000 a half share was sold back to Rod & Sally. Princeton has been a shuttle stallion for the past 8 years spending part of the breeding season in QLD and the rest in Tasmania. In 2005 Princeton made his last trip to Qld.
Along side of the Princeton son Lauralyn Bay Magic we have the Straight Egyptian stallion Prince Of Egypt who will be used over our big Princeton mares.
We hope you enjoy looking at our Arabians.

SEPTEMBER 09
We've arrived back from the Tonimbuk Tom Quilty 160km ride. The ride was great and the facilities awesome. Two huge big indoor arenas. One to vet in and one to strap in which came in very handy when the rain poured down at one stage. I was successful on the purebred mare Aloha Zetoile doing her first 160km and I have only done 2 80km rides in the last 5 years so was wondering if I still had it in me. Jane Stratton riding our other little purebred Princeton gelding, Lauralyn Ta'bi, unfortunately vetted out lame at the finish. Very heartbreaking for Jane. This was also Ta'bi's first 160km event. Both horses did a great job.
Congratulations to Debbie Grull and Lauralyn Notorius by Princeton. Deb was first across the line, first Lightweight and Best Conditioned at the Pyengana Ride in Tasmania's North East.
Congratulations to Rod & Sally Strahan of Shardell Arabians on the great result for their Princeton horses at the Brookleigh Stud FEI Aust Champs ** 120km ride. Rod won this event on Shardell Azrark and the first three horses to cross the line in the open division were by PRINCETON and bred by Shardell Arabians Qld
Lauralyn Arabians would like to thank Greg and Heather Johnson of Black Heart Arabians for allowing us to purchased the lovely Straight Egyptian mare Kuhaylan Egyptian Nakeeda. Nakeeda is in foal to our Straight Egyptian stallion Prince of Egypt.
